Suddenly
Suddenly, nothingness. Suddenly nothing matters, no desires, no dreams, no pain, no expectations, just the continuous labour of the senses defining the frontiers of the body. And everything that the senses capture around is less of sight and more of hearing, less of smell and more of touch. And the time can flow continuously without the barrier of fear, and death can arrive without an expectation for an after-life. And breathing is the only thing acting outside and having an effect on the surroundings.
