Using nothing but soap and a macro lens, Janet Waters photographs mesmerizing patterns on colored backdrops.
But she hasn’t stopped there, she’s using her Flickr to create a “visual library” for all of her University students. Packed with experimental photo projects galore, her stream is well worth a look.

The Universe inside you. After all what is reality? Like Morpheus asked: «how do you define real?» Because even if I see or touch something that I think it’s my laptop or my room, is it really out there? Or is it just an interpretation of what is outside me? And then it turns out that I’m just living in a self-made reality, inside me, not even knowing for sure if I’m really interacting with that “thing” outside of me. For example, what is the color of a X-ray wave or a radio wave? They are all around me and I can’t see or feel them but they exist… All is pure energy molded by our desires.

I heard you like fruit so I put them in the order of a light spectrum
It is strange to think that we will not be able to come up with new colors…
And you would be surprised by how much in common we all have. I’m not talking about how we all have similar tastes on music or in clothing or whatever but by little things that happen to all of us.
Things like watching the clock and having to watch again because you forgot to really see the time, or how you think it is not correct to use the option B on an exam because you used it already too much.
The differences that you find in your physical body (that you did not even choose) or in religions (that you hardly really choose, they are more “imposed” by repetition and habit), country (have you really travelled to all countries to be able to say that yours is better?), and so on… I think people just use them because they need something to talk about between them (another thing in common).

Sit in reverie and watch the changing color of the waves that break upon the idle seashore of the mind.
