I wish a world in tears

I wish all the ill people were cured and that a strange ray of light would come across the sky, visible at night, opening clouds, calling everyone’s attention, and that this light would be so beautiful that people would completely feel this beauty and couldn’t avoid to fall against the ground with tears in their eyes, both with joy and guilty, and so that all the wars, fights, discussions, strikes, races, games,… would completely stop just by looking at that light. And the confusion of everyday would be replaced by the sound of people crying without concerns, just washing out all the pressure they bear everyday with salty rivers running through their faces, opening themselves and showing a completely honest feeling to everyone.

Yes, it’s ok, you can cry.

It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lost it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives.

«2012 - A message of hope II»

I have to say something about this video. It is very well done in terms of effects and how it shows the unity we all need. Nevertheless I have to highlight that meditation, many times showed in this video, is merely a tool of self-healing but not a real solution to the problem. I’m not saying that it is bad, I think it is a good practice but when it comes to change yourself for the better, anything that would limit your own desires, or make you hide them, is counterproductive. Why? Because that’s what needs correction. Those desires that we feel, that anger and frustration and despair for anything that happens in your life is really what needs to be focused on. If you focus on what you are inside, instead of hiding it, and you ask, as a deep need, for unity with the world around you, that’s when you really start to evolve. And if you think this is easy, that’s because you haven’t even started it yet. Think about it.

This made me think on how sad it is the constant effort humans put on shortening ways for instant satisfaction. It is said that people do not enjoy the trip because they are always looking forward to the destination. However when they get there, they are so tired of waiting for it that it is no longer pleasurable. Even so because the real pleasure is not achieved by saving all of it to ourselves but by sharing it with everybody around us.

The most adventurous journey to embark on; is the journey to yourself, the most exciting thing to discover; is who you really are, the most treasured pieces that you can find; are all the pieces of you, the most special portrait you can recognize; is the portrait of your soul.

I would say that the bottom line is: connect with people and enjoy your fucking life!

So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, comformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. -Christopher McCandless

All humans are essentially wild creatures and hate confinement. We need what is wild, and we thrill to it, our wildness bubbling over with an anarchic joie de vivre. We glint when the wild light shines. The more suffocatingly enclosed we are - tamed by television, controlled by mortgages and bureaucracy - the louder our wild genes scream in aggression, anger and depression.
