War Inside of Me

There is a war inside of me…

No guns, no bullets fired, no noise, no explosions, just a confusion, a rebellion of feelings I had never felt before… and I’m their battlefield, I’m the place where the holes are open, where the fear rises, where the pain reigns, where my blood makes it to the rivers, to the sky, to the appocalipse of my strength and the rain of my tears…

Inside of me there is no place to hide, everything is pain, everything is hopelessness and I sit in front of all this scenario, watching passively my own destruction…

Right or Wrong

I wonder who is right? Me, who wants to live peacefully, trying always to make it easier for other people to live (trying to be gentle, to not disturb, to follow community rules)… or those from the other side of the road that don’t care about anybody and just make all the noise they want, either with motorbikes or music or…

I guess there is no such a thing as “right” or “wrong” in this world, but wouldn’t it be more appropriate to forget our own immediate pleasures for the good of the community? Or am I just having this noble thoughts because they satisfy my own egoism?

There can be sudden and unexpected screams or noises, they will not scare me at all. But you put me in front of a toaster waiting for the toast to come up and when they finally jump out, it will always scare the sh*t out of me!

No, this isn’t for me…
A city, what an horrendous place to live!
No, this isn’t for me!
I belong to Nature in Its purest form, where there are no such noises that offend my ears, where there are no such artificial lights that hurt my eyes, where there are no stressful beings polluting the roads and streets.
Instead, there it’s the place of peace, the place of contemplation of the day and the night, the sun and the moon, the light and the shadows. It’s the only place where I can still find infinity without any effort, where I can be infinity myself without any requirement or paper request.
No, this isn’t for me! This is a cold mechanical body and I need a warm heart…

I need it.
The silence of the night.
To find again that presence of myself lost in the rush of noises of each day.
Let me embrace you, until my arms hurt, let me kiss you, until my lips are no longer mine.
Let me be by your side until you are everything within and outside of me…

There is no quiet place in the white man’s cities. No place to listen to the leaves of spring or the rustle of insect wings. But perhaps because I am a savage and do not understand - the clatter only seems to insult the ears.

I do understand you Chief! There is no way I could ever adapt to this city!
